<p>Soutenu par les crédits « actions sud » du laboratoire MIO, le projet LACAB, porté part la Dr. Amanda TADINI, portait sur la labilité du carbone sédimentaire des mangroves Gabonaise. Les sédiments de la mangroves d&rsquo;Akanda situé au Nord de Libreville ont été prélevés en 2024 en vue d&rsquo;une étude de biodégradation en laboratoire mais également sur place à l&rsquo;aide de mesure proxy DBO</p>

<p>La JEAI PROjet OGooué MAngroves (PRO2GMA) a pour mission d’étudier les mangroves de l’Ogooué aux alentours de Port-Gentil au Gabon. Un état des lieux sera réalisé sur 3 sites (Mandorové, Olendé et Ozouri) avec la quantification de contaminants géochimiques et microbiologiques, l’état de santé physionomique ou la cartographie des mangroves. Un suivi des mangroves de l’Ogooué sera ensuite réalisé et, par la suite, l’étude du fleuve sera également faite pour, au final, comprendre l’influence de l’Ogooué sur ses mangroves.</p>
